By "accessible" we mean financially accessible as well.
We do our best to keep our courses and retreats as affordable as we can. For starters, all of our courses and events are offered with a sliding scale fee - a kind of self-financing scholarship fund whereby those willing and able to pay at the high end make possible registrations on the low end.
But even the low end of the scale is beyond the reasonable reach of many who have a genuine need to bring mindfulness into their lives. In fact, the very conditions that lead to this need are the ones that limit their financial means. Debilitating injuries. Post-traumatic stress. Abusive relationships. Stressful jobs with inadequate pay.
To that end, we have established a Scholarship Fund and request your generous help!
You might remember that we have been giving scholarships to military veterans for some time. Our broader Scholarship Fund will include support for veterans along with everyone else in need of help to access quality mindfulness training.
Thank you very much for your support.
Mindfulness Northwest is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with both the Federal Government and the State of Washington. All donations to this scholarship fund are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law and a donation receipt will be sent to all donors.
