What if each morning we could put on a set of glasses to help us view the details of our day more often through a lens of wonder?
Science is now revealing that practicing gratitude is a skill that can have positive effects on our health, moods and relationships. Put simply, it offers us the opportunity to approach life with new eyes.
Please join us for a day of immersion in mindfulness practices, discussion, poetry and teachings which will invite the door of gratefulness in our hearts and minds to open wide.

This event will take place at beautiful St. Mary-on-the-Lake's Peace & Spirituality Center,
on the shores of Lake Washington. This nine-acre site offers wooded paths, mountain views, a dock on the lake and spacious, modern rooms; we'll be well-cared-for and can relax into the pace and rhythm of this day of practice together.
Instructors: Richard and Teresa Johnson
Cost: $100 - $200 Sliding Scale Tuition. We also have special Scholarship Tuition options available for those unable to pay at the low end of the sliding scale. Payment plans are also available during registration (four equal monthly payments; no financing fee).

Additional Course details:
A day of immersion into mindfulness, stress reduction, and body awareness. Formal practices including body scan, mindful yoga, sitting and walking meditation, all practiced together in silence.
- Your lunch.
- Layered clothing (including rain gear) as we often do walking meditation outside when possible.
- A blanket for keeping warm during times of stillness or lying down.
- An exercise or yoga mat if you have one.
- A meditation cushion or bench if you prefer (there will also be chairs to use).
