Our Fundamentals of Mindfulness class is a 5 meeting experiential introduction to mindfulness in the style of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. It was developed for the University of Washington Medical School as a more accessible class to attend than the 8-week (9 meeting) MBSR class. Introduction to Mindfulness has been offered at UW Medical, Washington Physicians Health Program and to the Bellingham community since 2012.
The class includes four 2.5 hour classroom sessions, a 6 hour extended session (retreat day), and weekly home practice assignments. See the MBSR page for more background on the design of our mindfulness courses.
