Most of our Bellingham-based classes are held at Red Cedar Dharma Hall, a space for the practice of mindfulness and compassion run by Red Cedar Zen Community. This space is shared by two Buddhist meditation groups and is also used for a variety of classes and workshops. Mindfulness Northwest classes are all secular and non-religious.
Red Cedar Dharma Hall is located at 1021 N. Forest Street in downtown Bellingham.
From I-5 north or south, take the Lakeway Exit (#253). Turn right onto Lakeway if coming from the north; from the south, take a right at the exit, then another right at the intersection, passing under the freeway. Take a soft right onto Holly St. at the second light. Go down the hill, and take a left on State Street driving for 3 blocks, turn left on Laurel Street and in one block left on Forest Street (which is one way the other direction). Look for Red Cedar Dharma Hall on your left just before Maple Street at 1021 N. Forest.
Optionally, stop near the old Bellingham Dharma Hall (now Bellingham Shambhala Center) at State and Maple to look for parking on State or Maple Streets and walk up to Forest and just two doors south from the Majestic to Red Cedar Dharma Hall.
We are at 1021 N. Forest Street (just south of the intersection of Forest and Maple, 2 doors down from the Majestic). Street parking is available in the surrounding area but can be difficult on weekends.
