Two types of scholarship assistance are available:
Using the sliding scale fee: We offer a sliding scale fee for almost all our offerings (e.g., between $50 and $90 for our Days of Mindfulness). Those choosing to pay on the low end of the scale automatically receive some scholarship funds, while those paying on the high end of the scale automatically contribute some scholarship funds. You do not have to apply for a scholarship when choosing a registration option toward the low end of the scale.
Applying for scholarship assistance: If the low end of the sliding scale fee represents a financial hardship, we have limited additional scholarship funds available. Special consideration is given to military veterans and alumni of our classes and retreats. Instead of registering for the event, submit an online SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. We'll review your application and let you know if we can accommodate your request.
We encourage alumni of our programs to keep their practice fresh by joining us for Days of Mindfulness and longer retreats. To this end:
We hope that alumni who can afford to will continue to select registration options higher on the sliding scale fee so as to help Mindfulness Northwest make reduced-fee options available to those in most need.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Our Contact Page will tell you how to do that.
