Compassion for Couples

ONLINE

6-week course

We’re partnering with Wise Compassion to offer Compassion for Couples: Building the Skills of Loving Connection, a first-of-its-kind, 6-week online program led by licensed marriage and family therapist and international compassion teacher, Michelle Becker, M.A., LMFT, and certified mindfulness and compassion teacher, Megan Prager, M.A.

Utilizing the skills of mindfulness and compassion this program will teach you and your partner how to:

• Build a base of warmth, security and connection
• Be more present with each other
• Identify your shared values
• Communicate with kindness and compassion
• Comfort yourself and each other
• Skillfully relate to each other in times of difficulty

Even if you and your partner already practice mindfulness and compassion, you might have noticed that it’s not always easy to do that in the context of your relationship.Perhaps you’re in a committed relationship in which you’re experiencing some challenges. And you want to feel more connected, secure and at ease with each other.

Or, you’re in a committed relationship that’s already well connected, and you want to safeguard and strengthen your connection so that it lasts well into the future. Compassion for Couples is a wonderful opportunity for you and your partner to build a strong and healthy foundation for your relationship and develop the skills to help navigate the difficulties that arise within us and between us.

*** This is the last time Compassion for Couples will be offered this year. ***

Each partner registers individually, and couples attend online together. Space is limited to 20 couples per session, and we do expect these sessions to fill.

When you register, you’ll receive everything you need to take full advantage of the course, including access to:

• 6 LIVE 2.5-hour online teaching sessions with Michelle Becker and Megan Prager where you and your cohort will receive expert guidance.
• 6 self-paced, interactive online modules, including a mix of learning activities and conceptual topics.
• Guided, downloadable meditations for developing a stronger relationship with your partner.
• Step-by-step at-home practices to cultivate mindfulness and compassion for yourself and others.

Here’s what some recent graduates of the program say about how it changed the way they relate to themselves and others:

“I had no idea of an instant change I would feel in my marriage. The nature of my relationship feels vastly different already. There’s a renewed sense of warmth, friendship, gratitude and safety that I continue to appreciate daily.”

“I was surprised how much this course enriched our communication and deepened our ability to listen more safely and skillfully.”
