Meeting Loss & Transition with Self-Compassion: Free Introductory Session

Loss and transition are part of every human life, yet they can leave us feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, navigating a major life change, living with illness, experiencing the end of a relationship, or simply sensing that life has shifted beneath your feet, you don’t have to go through it alone.

Join us for this free introductory session to explore how mindfulness and self-compassion can support you during times of change. You’ll be introduced to the heart of our Meeting Loss & Transition with Self-Compassion course, experience a few gentle practices, and learn how self-compassion can help you meet difficult moments with greater steadiness, kindness, and resilience.

This session is designed for anyone who is curious about the course or wondering if it’s the right fit. There is no expectation to share personal experiences, and no previous meditation experience is needed. You’ll also have an opportunity to meet the instructor, ask questions, and learn what to expect from the full six-week program.

Whether you’re ready to enroll or simply exploring what support is available, we warmly invite you to join us.

During this introductory session, you’ll:

  • Learn the foundations of mindfulness and self-compassion for navigating loss and life transitions
  • Experience a few simple, guided practices
  • Explore how the six-week course is structured and what you’ll learn
  • Have time to ask questions before deciding whether to register

We look forward to welcoming you.
